Do we have enough video footage evidence yet to prove Biden is senile?

There aren't many absolutes: some right wingers will prefer Biden to Trump, some left wingers Trump to Biden. But given the colossal level of global disrespect for Donald Trump, trying to argue Biden has a worse global image than Donald Trump did as president is so obviously factually wrong that by far the highest likelihood is right-wing bias.
Just lightly skimming through this here thread, but, someone actually tried to argue that in here?

The guy was made fun off everywhere he went, had protests in countries he visited, was made fun off on television, had a personal blimp depicting him as a giant baby.

Roughly said the only countries that had a positive image of him were Russia, North Korea and other general ill aligned governments because they saw him as a chance to manipulate the US.

Not explicitly, but it is an implicit meaning of worrying about Biden damaging the USA's reputation without admitting his predecessor was far worse.

And one could easily argue that the left is dealing with that exact same conundrum as we speak. Biden is shit, it's a different type of shit than Trump, but they both stink either way. Yet we have the left defending him because........I don't know actually. I guess they are defending him strictly on the basis that he isn't Trump? But that's a really fucking low bar to hold don't you think.

Right and left should come together as one and go, the government fucking sucks right now full stop.
I hold to the general view that democracies get the democratic representatives that they deserve. That's the thing about democracies: it is literally in the hands of the people to decide who runs the show. I do not pretend that change is necessarily easy, but on the other hand it strikes me an awful lot of people do an awful lot of complaining without doing the sorts of things that might drive change.

Reminds me of that South Park epsiode in which they had to vote between a Giant Douche and a Shit Sandwich. The moral of the always was, "It's ALWAYS between a Giant Douche and a Shit Sandwich." that's the magic of politics, in that literally everyone involved is a scumbag.
It's not though, but that's been the myth. I believed it, too, a good twenty years ago. Billions of dollars of damage from climate change related severe storms, not to mention the deaths involved, and one party can't acknowledge it's happening...

Yeah, if that was ever true, it definitely isn't now.

I think if they had put Bernie forth, he would have MURDERED Trump in the election easily.
I've not seen any polling that comes close to suggesting that. And the rising level of antisemitism without a Jewish President leads me to believe that would be highly unlikely. Fox News would have doubled down on it the same way they doubled down on "COVID ain't real."

He was the only candidate other than Joe that consistently outpolled Trump before COVID. This was true for basically the entire year running up to the primary actually starting. It’s not even really an argument.

Obama made the US a net exporter of fossil fuels.

Edit: because I know this will be turned around, no, it was not by reducing oil consumption. Obviously.

Fine if that's the case, but that still requires analyzing their actual ideas. Just because someone is "right wing" doesn't mean they support 100% of the right's policies simply because they are on the right. You understand the difference right?
Oh, I give everyone on the right the chance to prove themselves decent human beings. It is not my fault that so few do.

You call that sharp? Someone asked if there were Democrats that wanted to defund the police, and in fact there are, and his answer was to... talk about vampires? On what Earth is this called sharp? This was a complete non-sequitur. His response to something that was a big slogan among many Democrats during 2020 is to bring up a crazy conspiracy tabloid myth?

He was pointing out that if you want to talk about how some democratic congresspeople want to defund the police (like four) you should balance that against the number of Republican congresspeople who think Democrats literally eat babies (also like four). One of these things is far more insane to say.

Edit: in case it isn’t obvious, it’s the baby eating.

The funny thing is it would still be insane if ALL they thought about the dems was "they eat babies" but the laundry list of insane, unfounded, and frankly just batshit impossible things the right has declared about their opposition, to justify their actions, is a mile long. They just spout shit that is often biologically/scientifically impossible as if it's the "god's honest truth" because fucker carlson spewed it out of his mouth one night, and compound it on other insane bullshit they cook up, making this russian nesting doll of insanity, that they base their entire lives, and political policies on. And no amount of rational debate or discussion with them will make they see reason, because they are unreasonable. They just see it as more fake news, part of the liberal agenda, and discount all of it, and go back to fucking the nearest flag, bible, and bald eagle they can get their jingo little hands on.

Not really, I wouldn't call it senile. He's just at an age where his faculties are pretty limited. Senile is more like what Reagan was going through, if were speaking in strict terms which I'm sure were not. Could be better, could be worse. In 2021 I find the most comfort simply from Biden being generally disinterested in gossip or clickbait news. Theres something empathetic about him seeming to be generally worn out and tired of the bullshit 24/7 news cycle. I think his age plays a role in that so maybe its a minor boon?

I struggle to complain, there was a point during the crisis where in I tried to go to the grocery store and all the meat, dairy and anything resembling the two was gone. All the paper products were gone and when I left people were fighting in the parking lot over ramen. I ended up stuck eating frozen burritos for a month. During that whole presidency it was just non-stop threats of war, of banning this and banning that with 3am tweets. Pressuring stock spikes on fox news. I know that excites some people, but I like stability. I got a mortgage and a retirement fund.

If he's old and losing track of shit, it's fine by me. He's got a stable, competent team that can make complex decisions for him so if he sounds like an idiot when he's getting mics shoved in his face its not like it matters.

Because you are just labeling a person an idiot directly based on them being "right wing" without actually considering the opinion.

Yes in a vacuum, you of course just wave away a dumb idea, however that's not what was said. It's blind devotion and immediately viewing the "right" as the adversary and nothing more. The "right" is the enemy and there is no consideration beyond that. Which is an absolutely fucked up way to view shit. And if you are outright going to dismiss any idea, or source of information, strictly on the basis of being from the "right", then you are just a butt nugget and have invalidated your own opinion in the exact same way.
Neat. When I was a kid, it was feminazis and communists. When I was a teen, it was union socialists and the Gay Agenda. When I was a young adult, it was death panel islamists. Late 20's, it was radical cultural Marxists. Currently, it's cancel culture and the trans agenda. And apparently "butt nugget"

Quite frankly, the right is and always has been my enemy. They declared it as such and started the fight themselves. And over the course of my life I have watched every single right-wing idea crash and burn spectacularly with great amounts of collateral damage: sometimes figuratively, too often literally.

So why the fuck do you expect me to be "reasonable" and keep giving them a chance? A lot of these fuckers are the exact same fuckers as the first time around, and the ones that aren't are the families and protégés of those fuckers. And before you get too riled up, the Democratic candidates in for Senator and Representative in Montana both ran election campaigns that amounted to "vote for us, we would elect Zombie Reagan if possible" and they're considered moderates for some fucking reason, so I'm lumping a significant chunk of the Democratic Party in with the right.

EDIT: Like for fucks sake, this idiot got elected to Congress. The fuck am I supposed to negotiate with here? We don't even live in the same goddamned reality.

The left is always expected to do all the heavy lifting when it comes to civility and cooperation. Even the moderates, fence-sitters and people too lazy to pick a side have just given the right a pass on shitheadery.

Oh, also this probably isn’t a good sign on that front.
