I would point out that the whole point of pretending that there is an 'overarching white culture' is to enforce a particular culture onto white people. It's just traditionalists pretending that everyone thinks like them and will cancel anyone who steps out of line
If there's anything resembling "white culture" it's the result of colonialism and probably shouldn't be celebrated. I'd much rather my own language be widely spoken, the players of our national sports actually get paid for being some of the top athletes in Europe and British lads on stags stop coming over here wearing leprechaun costumes.

One of the primary requirements to be a "true believer" in the Q cult is to be able to change your mind about anything in a split-second when "your betters" tell you to.
That is pretty much one of the critical defining aspects of being in a cult: willingness to believe what you are told by the cult leader.

Never mind that the fringe beliefs that proliferate in such groups tend to have minimal evidence base, so there's not much reality to provide cognitive inertia when presented with a new message.

You know what's funny. Ukrainians were never really seen as white. Until Crimea. Now they are accepted with open arms as refugees. Syrians though...

White is incredibly nebulous term that doesnt mean anything

Oh lordi she's trying. Still turning that "racism/anti-Semitism" dial further to find the sweep spot of white supremacist validation.

President Biden will deny the shield of executive privilege for two top advisers to former President Donald Trump — his first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, and former trade adviser Peter Navarro — in the House select committee's Jan. 6 investigation, Axios has learned.

Why it matters: The move will likely force Flynn and Navarro to make a choice: cooperate with the select committee or face potential criminal referral from Congress to the Department of Justice.

  • Navarro vowed to take his case to the Supreme Court.
  • Flynn's attorney responded to the White House by insisting that his client has not asserted executive privilege or refused to appear for a deposition by the Jan. 6 committee.
Driving the news: Jonathan C. Su, a deputy White House counsel, sent letters on Monday to Flynn's attorney and directly to Navarro to inform them that Biden would not be invoking the privilege on their behalf.

  • "To the extent any privileges could apply to General Flynn's conversations with the former President or White House staff after the conclusion of his tenure, President Biden has determined that an assertion of executive privilege is not in the national interest, and therefore is not justified, with respect to particular subjects within the purview of the Select Committee," Su wrote to Flynn’s attorney, according to a copy of the letter obtained by Axios.
  • The letter from the White House to Navarro was similar to Flynn's, but unlike Flynn, Navarro still served the president at the time of the riot — potentially giving him a stronger argument that his conversations with Trump should be protected.
  • "These subjects include: events within the White House on or about January 6, 2021; attempts to use the Department of Justice to advance a false narrative that the 2020 election was tainted by widespread fraud; and other efforts to alter election results or obstruct the transfer of power," the counsel's office wrote to Navarro.
Flashback: In October, Biden waived any claims to executive privilege for Mark Meadows, Trump's chief of staff at the time of the insurrection, as well as Steven Bannon, his former top adviser.

  • Bannon was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of contempt of Congress for his failure to comply with a subpoena.
The other side: Navarro responded to the White House with a tart email:

  • "Mr. Biden is not the president I worked for. Donald Trump is," he wrote, cc'ing an Axios reporter along with several other national reporters.
  • "It is fanciful and dangerous to assert that a sitting president can revoke the Executive Privilege of his predecessor," Navarro emailed to the Biden White House. "See you at the Supreme Court."
Between the lines: Flynn has been asserting his right not to comply with all the committee's requests, but today his attorney said that he hasn't specifically invoked executive privilege.

  • In December, a federal judge in Florida ruled against Flynn's attempt to file a restraining order against the Jan. 6 committee from forcing him to testify.
  • Today in his response to Su, Flynn's attorney, David Warrington, claimed that "At no time has Executive Privilege been asserted by us or our client in connection with the Select Committee’s subpoena."
  • "At no time has our client refused to appear for a deposition," he added, in a letter to the White House obtained by Axios. "At no time has anyone requested agency counsel to be present at any deposition."
Go deeper: The Supreme Court rejected Trump's latest request to block the National Archives and Records Administration from releasing records to the panel
Please just do something, anything of consequence about about Flynn already.

It continues further for any interested, but can't fit it all in this post.

Sorry going to have another bite of this apple

I don't think that's what happened at all. I think the first victims of colonialism was white people. The whole point of colonialism is to wipe away anything that could be called an identity or culture and replace it with something they want. So, IMO, it was systemic racism enacted by a bunch of elites. (I would look at the three colonies surrounding England right now that aren't too happy with England taking back power after Brexit. I think that's a big miscalculation by London Elites(

And, unfortunately, sometime victims become future perpetrators.

I'm not sure I understand because I don't see the disagreement. I was saying that "white culture" isn't a thing because plenty of "white" cultures were wiped out by another "white" culture (one big one in particular). So when people talk about "white culture" they're actually talking about the culture of colonialists who forced there culture on other people who are, at least now, considered "white".

The point I was making in the second part is that, "white culture" almost destroyed the use of my national language and probably did enough lasting damage that it won't survive another generation.

And that we give way more money and attention to British millionaires playing the softest version of football that exists while the people who play our national version of football (who studies have shown are largely faster, stronger athletes with better cardiorespiratory fitness levels than most soccer players) do it for free because there's no money in it. So it was just me being bitter while making the point that "white culture" has destroyed the culture of most "whites".

Colonies? With the exception of Ireland they got fair governmental representation, were well involved in and made lots of money out of British imperialism. They were just as neck deep in all the sins of the era as the English, it's only latterly since it's gone sour they want to pretend otherwise and blame it all on London.

Eh, isn't calling yourself the Queen of Canada, nominally forming your own government and calling for the arrest of the real Queen of Canada treason and sedition?

Please please please don't sentence them to transportation to Australia.
Oh there's an eclectic tissue of lore connected to that specific use of "Queen of Canada" there. For a start, the real queen has already been assassinated whiles ago, allegedly. If you dare read on...
