The Great Replacement Theory posits that the white population is deliberately being replaced by people of other races. If that is something that bothers you, you might be a racist, and while far from all racists commit murder against members other races, this individual seems to have done such a thing. What's more, killing black people means that mathematically a larger percentage of the population are of races that aren't black, and white happens to not be black, so it is a way to combat the alleged replacement. Furthermore, the shooter left behind a manifesto, and he appears to have been a believer in the theory.
Simply put, Great Replacement states that non-whites are systematically out-numbering whites in order to oppress the latter. Anyone with more melanin in their skin than Chris Hemsworth is a target in this conspiracy.

It's the 1st I ever heard of the conspiracy and the source in the thread (a tweet) states it's about purposefully bringing in immigrants and I'm pretty sure black people aren't the ones coming over the border in droves. I couldn't care less about this bullshit theory so I'm not looking up anything else because it's just a waste of time and just going off what was posted in the thread.
As I said above, the source (tweet) said it had to do with immigration. Black families have been here for generations already. Yes, I obviously get killing any non-whites would "help" but if the main thing is hate for immigrants, then it doesn't make sense.
Again, where did I say threats are OK? I was commenting on the proposed censorship of disinformation. "Trusted" sources spout disinformation all the time, including the president (whether Biden or not). Biden said Rittenhouse was a white supremacist, which was disinformation, and could lead to violence (though it's not a threat by any means).
