But the study found it didn't because all-cause mortality was the same whether you got a colonoscopy or not. Plus, there's less evasive screenings you can get for that. Colonoscopies are big money makers and they actually don't need to be done.
So is the American Cancer Society part of the scam or just duped by it?

So, space being big and all, that nebula is something like 6500 light years away....
Compare that to the Voyager probes, which having been launched 45 years ago, reaching speeds of more than 38,000 miles per hour, have gotten less than one light day away from us. (Granted, they haven't flown in anything near a straight line for much of that distance thanks to needing to hit up planets for gravity boosts, but still.)

Well first off I think you mean invasive rather than evasive but hey; it’s not like the medical community is the only one who hold on to old school methods because that’s what they were taught. As for money makers, that’s not generally a consideration in my country. At least certainly not to the same extent it would be for you.

I'm only guilty of numbers 12 and 39 (and seriously, who ever actually says "forte" right?).
If forte is (mis)pronounced ‘for-tay’ and refers to expertise or ability, i.e. Bart Simpson’s forte is mischief, then I totally do. It’s conversational rather than something I use in written parlance though.

Eh, I used to be pedantic about that sort of thing, but as long as the meaning is clear I don't see a problem nowdays. But two completely different meanings of "literally" bug me, because they making the meaning ambiguous.

No one, because it would sound to everyone like they’re referring to their childhood dwelling quarters. I still refuse to accept or believe this one personally, even after reading it. At best it just shows how fucked up the English language is/has gotten/has always been? with all its stupid rules.

Pretty sure 'forte' is derived from French, as in 'ce n'est pas mon fort'. That T at the end is silent, so it should ostensibly be 'fore', with the R pronounced as a French R.

There's a lot of wierd and honestly some really dumb fanboy feuds out there.

I guess i don't get the Holiday one or the Dino nerd rivalries in particular.

Also apparently there are people who will fight over Dr. Pepper vs. Mr Pibb?

Going over the video game side.

Undertale vs. MGSV: The Phantom Pain? What the fuck is going on with that? Those games aren't remotely similar in like any fucking way. I mean, yeah, both Undyne and Venom have an eyepatch, but they aren't actually the same character. And neither of them are actually big boss.

And there are apparent rivalries between different version of TETRIS, of all things and god knows I have no idea why.

They both came out in September of 2015, so there is that link. I wouldn't have thought of it except one of my favorite gamer memes is the friendship between Isabella and Doom Guy, because Animal Crossing and Doom Eternal came out the same day.

Frequent ecstasy use wrecks your long-term memory. I didn't know that and I'm surprised anti-drug campaigns don't make more of a thing of it.
