Then I have no problems sticking with Nintendo and getting a Switch 2 later down the line. Sony does have competition, they're too stupid to realize it. Nintendo is kicking both of their asses.

Accurate, but I hate AI videos. Also, I wouldn't call the original Final Fight anything close to a "failure". Especially when it did so well and heavily influenced the brawler genre fore more than a decade.
Alex's backstory feels like one of Capcom's writers decided to shove their entire kink list into there.
WtF? Nintendo has the same fucking problem dude. Nintendo's DLC practices have gotten incredibly scummy. While they aren't putting loot boxes into their games, they are using DLC to milk people with content that should have been in the game at launch to begin with.
Especially considering that outside of Donkey Kong, the Switch 2 games have been pretty lackluster. Metroid 4, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart, Pokemon ZA, all have been disappointing to people.
Nintendo isn't any better than Sony of Microsoft, they just have to be sneakier about their bullshit because their console caters primarily to children and adults who think like children.
I never said they were immune, but they have a better handle on what their customer wants. I never meet any excuses for them to begin with. Despite all that they're still kicking butt and succeeding. You can't change that fact. They bother to have actual games; not "live service" malarkey.
I've been even noted my previous issues with Nintendo before.
Nick has his points, but this exactly why I never bothered with live-service. I prefer my games to have some kind of end game, or end state.
