So I'm guessing that's gonna be a nice list of one.
I remember Liberation Day. Trump laid out what a good country would do for the US. Australia met the criteria. We still got punished. It's not about merit or worthiness. Trump wanted to punish everyone and can not be assed to put effort into it

The list will be zero because putting effort into thinking about it is too much to ask

You neglect the costs, human and financial, of encouraging people to come somewhere they're not really free and then trapping them here.
You don't give a damn about immigrants' human and financial costs, don't bullshit me with that. If you ever did, you wouldn't be enthusiastically cheering on Trump fucking over legal immigrants. You're behaving little different from a scammer who cynically plays on people's good nature to induce them to hand over their money, and they're the worst sort of scammers.

Immigration does not occur because of nebulous factors like "encouragement" in much the same way that the death sentence doesn't significantly deter crime. The recent US immigration boom 2020-2023 started under Trump: and it plainly didn't start because Trump was soft on illegal immigration and they all thought they could get away with it. Immigration occurs because of practical reasons such as economic opportunity, quality of life, and ability to make the journey.

The joke that you aren't in on is the evidence that he was not being pompous or sanctimonious in the first place.
Pomposity and sanctimony are two of his most salient characteristics. That balloon can be popped any time.

It's not false, you just mix together statistics from separate groups and apply them to the whole.
Nothing i said was applied to the entirety of any group. You made a blanket statement, about how process had been followed in all but a "few" cases, and that these cases were justified by suspicion of gang membership and that they were already imprisoned or detained.

I do not need to speak to the whole of the group to show what you said is untrue. Speaking to significant subgroups is perfectly relevant: those accused of gang membership on spurious grounds, or those given less than 24 hours notice without any credible accusation. What i said was true, and your blanket statements about how process was followed is exposed as bullshit.

The drunk Hegseth whined Europe isn’t fighting America’s foolish war and that this is “their war too”

This despite the traitors having kept us out of the loop entirely, not warning us or giving any chance to prepare for the damage of this foolish war. And before all this they tried stealing our land and put it in writing we were an enemy needing to be toppled.

Get fucked, Hegseth and drink some more booze

Also, leaked internal email from the Pentagon proposing the USA should change its opinion on the UK retaining the Falklands. (This might of course be a deliberate leak designed to crudely pressure the British government.)

Absolutely. The USA declined to even tell Europe about starting a war that has inflicted substantial economic damage on Europe. It insults Europeans and then expects them to die for the USA. It mocks Europeans being unnecessary, and demands they contribute.

But the Trump administration have no interest in communicating with anyone except their voter base, and they cannot shut the fuck up. So all this crap we hear, this endless, narcissistically attention-grabbing stream of drivel, is pumped out for the Trumpistas in America. Even if they travel half-way across the world and speak to foreign and international bodies, still the message is only really for Trumpistas in America.

I did not make a blanket statement, I made a precisely qualified statement, with qualifiers you fail to process.
How about Office of Homeland Security statistics?
I have no qualms with OHSS as a source, but I disagree with the suggestion that page supports your claim. All else being equal, one could reasonably expect repatriations (the specific page you linked to) to be proportional to total activity (something we can't really measure directly and would justifiably look at proxy variables to analyze), but the increase there in 2020 is from a sudden change in policy due to Covid. They broadened the scope of people who were being turned away, so comparing to the year before is apples to oranges.

There were ~100,000 more repatriations in 2020 from 2019, by your source. But there were simultaneously drops in ICE detention (also from OHSS) and a steep drop in accepted refugees, so that increase in outflow is not enough to evidence in increase in inflow.

I directly addressed the qualifiers you gave.

Those accused of gang membership were suspected on spurious grounds. Most were not already imprisoned. And many of those detained were being held at processing centres after arriving legally, which is a meaningful detail when you're using their detainment to justify extreme measures taken against them.

The fact of the matter is that somebody could have arrived legally, followed every rule correctly, and been imprisoned and tortured on your government's dime without ever receiving notice that their legal status had changed. And you have zero issue with this obscene cruelty toward your fellow man. It's not even 'guilty until proven innocent', because with no judicial review, there was no opportunity for that second bit. So it's just 'guilty if we say so', off to the worst prison imaginable, and the supposed advocates of 'law and order' cheer. Disgusting obscenity.

Trump's Department of Jackasses has folded up its investigation of Jerome Powell.

Probably because there was nothing to charge him with, outside of "not making Trump look good".

You should learn how to use qualifiers, it would save you from saying things that are wrong all the time.

What I said there was completely true. Everything there has been substantiated to you over and again on this forum. You can retreat into flat denial if you want, but this is what you're justifying.

Every time you say some form of "legal status has changed", your ignorance shines through beautifully.

Every time you say some form of "legal status has changed", your ignorance shines through beautifully.
And every time you dispute these things by retreating into vague platitude (as you're doing now), it betrays that you don't really have a leg to stand on.

It is a fact that many of these people had been given express permission to be in the country, or were awaiting processing at immigration centres they had arrived at legally. This is well documented, and the government does not dispute this.

It is also a fact that in some cases, the notice given was less than 24 hours, stated in federal court to be obviously insufficient.

These are facts. You can vaguely accuse ignorance if you want, but it's just so much hot air.
