I have had the same experiences and it's so refreshing. And such simple fixes for these issues--it's really great and only makes me wonder what the hell took so long!

Seems a waste of resources and more reason to crank up the specs than anything actually useful. If they want people to not treat their soldiers as expendable, maybe they should make us write letters of condolence to the families of each soldier killed....

I think the main reason is that proceedurally generated dungeons saves the developer huge amounts of money that they can then reinvest...into their own pockets. You don't actually compare notes on the room layout, do you?

Personally, I think Monte Cook is an overrated, insecure jackass--but he is good at self-promotion. After a year, though, he's probably already done his damage. Shame.

These cutscenes actually make me want to play the game. I'm down with some more realistic gaming for a change. And the dialogue and animations were pretty damn funny--as intended. Though, without your funny running commentary--a la MST3000--it might be somewhat less enjoyable.

Very funny, guys. As for the game itself, it was really nice to see a game that doesn't begin with a dinosaur crashing into an airplane taking out a skyscraper with the president (and his lovely daughter) inside that then throws the entire world into another dark ages. Banal can be good.
