I've been falsely accused of hacking after kill streaks in several source games, mostly mods. I can't remember which ones though; it hasn't happened in a while.
It's perfectly legal to own a car with dark tinted windows, but you wouldn't be able to register it or drive it on the road like that. Of course, many people do anyway and just don't get caught.
The problem is that you're playing games that came out four years ago, for some of them 7 years ago, and expecting them to perform like they are brand new. Sure they're still good games, but not nearly as groundbreaking as they were when they first came out.

Hey, I'm not basing this on personal opinion here. I saw a picture of a thread on 4chan related to this. I know very well what 4chan's general opinion of Valve is, but it doesn't change the fact that in any group not everyone agrees with the general opinion.
As far as CAD goes I like Solidworks because it's good and very easy to learn; I think there are plugins that let you convert Solidworks files to models compatible with other 3d modeling software (I haven't really rendered anything in Solidworks).
