Well, if there's one thing JJ Abrams is good at, it's overhyping mediocre movies. I mean, we're getting a teaser over a full year before the release date. An exclusive limited-theater-only teaser, even. If that's not overhyping, I don't what is.
As far as Minecraft re-creations go, a single hallway with a corner isn't exactly the most difficult build. Sure, it's accurate, just not all that impressive compared to Columbia or Spirited Away.
Along similar lines, the USS New Jersey is the only battleship to have had two swimming pools onboard. Apparently when they took out the anti-aircraft guns mounted on the deck, the captain ordered the crew to fill the circular holes left behind with water, and they went swimming.
That's a really beautiful table. If my gaming group met up more than once every few months, I would think about getting one. Then again, I would need a place to put it first...
I believe it means that it's a ring from someone of power, not that the ring itself is giving mystical powers. It still looks fairly cool for being an ancient ring.
The only thing I remember about Jersey Girl is the time they filmed a scene at my local diner. It was a pretty big thing for the community; the school let out early because pretty much everyone wanted to go over and see the filming, even though most of the shots were interior and we couldn't...
Man, I wish that I could get paid a year's salary in one lump sum. Seriously, who though that was a good idea? What's the motivation to work if you've already been paid, and your contract doesn't say anything about actually completing the job?
It's still two years away, so I don't expect that they'll both release on the same day. One or both of them will have some kind of delay, or someone will move their date forward or back. Until the movie is a few months away, the announced release date is pretty much meaningless.
From what I understand of the situation, it did really well with the ratings and the viewer responses, but Adult Swim decided that producing the series would have cost more money than they were willing to spend at the time. I also believe they went on record a few years later saying they regret...
The upcoming Blu-Ray release? I'm pretty sure I already own it. In fact, I'm looking at it on my shelf right now. Unless this is some kind of new special edition thing, then I don't know. Still, I'm excited to see it in theaters again.
I think you have a point there. Good examples of fanart can be appreciated. Heck, they could even make a new category similar to the cosplay topic. It's just that it seems like the only fanart ever posted is that of Disney princesses. If they could maybe branch out a bit and look at things...
