Rock Band introduced me to so many songs that I ended up learning on real instruments, so that was pretty cool. Grand Theft Auto always had a good habit of showing me some really cool songs as well.
Most recently I would say Borderlands introduced me to Cage The Elephant. Great band.
I think it will be fun, but I can't say that I'm going to adore it. 3 is alright, it just feels like it's trying to hard to make me laugh. Like it's uncomfortable making jokes on it's own, it wants to impress me, so it just spouts profanities and genitals.
Chrono Trigger is a good one to try. You can get it off of the PSN store as a PS1 classic. That version does have some bad loading times, but the game is a great example of old school RPGs at their best.
If you want to get into some Genesis games, you can pick up Sonic's Ultimate Genesis...
I would love to get into the metagame, and I have tried. But I just can't. IV's are completely ridiculous thanks to the community around them. The majority of meta players will tell you that to compete with others you need to have perfect IV's and certain EV's. EV's I can live with. That is...
An open world mushroom kingdom would be great. It would definitely be the kind of thing that could breathe life into the franchise without going over board.
It could still have traditional levels in it, but have them be part of a larger world. I would love that.
I'm just done with the console market. I really thought that having my purchases tied to an account would mean that I would get to keep them until Sony went out of business and shut down their servers.
But no. Not even my downloadable indie titles will work. That is ridiculous. I'm not...
The weirdest thing that I have done is make a grilled cheese, except replacing the cheese with peanut butter. Kind of interesting.
Edit: I actually ate a burger at this restaurant where the buns were actually donuts. Also I asked them to put bacon on it. So a donut burger with bacon. Oh...
My girlfriend and I had the same issue. She still misses the David Tennant episodes.
It doesn't help that Smith was completely off the wall jumpy/crazy right off the bat. It was quite the transition.
I've grown to like Matt though. Maybe not as much as Tennant, but I still enjoy the...
I loved it at first, but the battle UI and the team AI flaws really started to come out as I played.
I still plan on finishing it. It is tons of fun, but I don't have a lot of time to sink into a huge JRPG right now. It definitely satisfies my RPG craving. It checks all of the boxes...
Great article. I used to spend hours in San Andreas. I never made stories in that, but I did make my own mini story in GTA IV. There was a warehouse filled with soda bottles and boxes that I would always duck into and get my wanted rating up high. I was a psychotic killer and the police were...
What I've learned from College/University:
Don't walk through the middle of campus because everybody will try to sell you something/vote for something/smash something/write on something/donate money to something/free food. Wait wha-FREE FOOD?
Why do the teachers get better parking spots...
I sort of knew this, but thanks for clearing it up more. I'm getting sick of losing my game libraries though. It's really annoying. I'm currently debating between the PS4 or moving to the PC gamer world. PC's are a bit daunting to get into though.
