Recent/soon-to-be UK Graduates, lets have a chat.

I graduated in June 2010 with a 1st in Business Studies, with a focus on marketing in the last year, and I was unemployed for about 6 months. From June to December I was very picky and didn't put too much effort into my job search, as I only applied to 12 roles in that time, but I got interviews...

Team Fortress 2 selling $100, $20, $7 hats for Japan aid

They're donating 100% of the revenue. It's a big difference. I can see Judgement's point of view, why aren't Valve donating? At the moment this allows Valve to only donate their customer's money, but get all the goodwill associated with it. Also, if people really cared they would just...

    Dark Cloud?

Dark Cloud was a great game and I had many great hours with it. The opening sequence (the book coupled with the music) really captivated me. It's still on my shelf and I even have some of the music on my laptop!

    Rocky Horror and you

I've attempted to watch it on several occasions when it's been on TV (Sky Movies seems to show it occasionaly), however, it all goes down hill for me shortly after the Time Warp.

DC Universe Online Sony's Fastest Selling MMO Ever

I've already cancelled my subscription. Its a decent game, but not something I've willing to pay monthly to enjoy. Back to WoW I go.

Question of the Day, January 3, 2011

I've played and completed Mass Effect 1 & 2 and intend to get 3, yet I have no desire to play any of the DLC. They just seemed like more side missions and I found them, and the recruitment missions, to be very repeative in their structure. I'd rather just continue with the main plot.

Question of the Day, December 31, 2010

June, easily. Got some great news and there was absolutely no pressure on me to do anything. I just enjoyed myself.

    UK Government to block porn

Last line of the article: The ISPA did not return calls to London's Sunday Times. Go to the Sunday Times' website and it's the first story. It is also on the front of the newspaper today. Newspapers who get exclusives don't share their stories with other newspapers for the good of the people.

    Poll: Proud to be British

Yes, European countries started the process of colonisation, but they stuck to the uninhabited coastal regions. It wasn't until the US got independence, and needed to expand, that it started moving west and clashed with the locals. Britain had alliances with the Natives during the war of 1812...

TESV Skyrim: Possibly Features a third Numidium. (Pics)

The wall might just be a prophecy, as is indicated in the trailer: "the elders scrolls told of their return" and the focus on certain parts during the monologue. It wall may just tell the circumstances which will come before 'their' return, hence the obvious focus on the oblivion symbol. The...

Journey's Multiplayer Designed "For Humans," Not Cursing Kids

It sounds like RDR's online, but without the guns (and subsequently, the idiots). You join a random world with random people and you don't necessarily have to interact with them.

    Who's your hero?

Enrique Iglesias Based upon the criteria set above, my hero has to be my Dad. He's probably the person who has had the biggest postive impact on my life.

    Your Cataclysm Plans

I've just looged into the EU servers and had a quick fly around stormwind in all it's glory. Watched one of the intros to a new zone with Thrall doing a voice over, but chose to leave it there for the night. Also, on my server I saw someone get a world first for max herbalism!

Monty Python: Who doesn't love it?

Monty Python is very hit and miss, much like every other sketch show. People remember the good stuff, as is evidenced by the numerous videos posted (I'm glad someone posted the 'how not to be seen' vid), but there was a lot of crap as well.
