Agreed, completely. I'll spend the last **cks I've got to give about Mass Effect saying, since Shepard's not appearing here, they could at least have left Shepard's gender unspecified. FemShep is Shepard to me.

Another neat bit. A survivor from the 4e, cantrips are at will spells. Here's to hoping there's a way to get more at will spells. If something still grinds my gears about 3.5 e besides feats it's the spellcasting limitations. I grew with Final Fantasy style magic, dammit!

If you're already registered for the playtest, but you're having problems with wizard's servers, there are other places you could look. Just saying. Also, from checking the rules it does feel like a streamlined 3.5. Still there's something really cool, packaging skills and feats into...

This is a definite low in the current storyline. Interestingly enough, this seems to be the comic thread with the most posts of the lot. I don't mind relationship stuff, just this feels ...lacking. Basically a bad joke with a cliffhanger.

Here's to hoping... Also I just went MWAHAHAHAHAA at the news... Has the ME fanbase (which I'm a part of) gotten their way? Is this a great or a monstruous precedent? Only time will tell.

Re: Dead Rising 2. I'm with you guys, but that's kind of the point of the game. Once you climb the damn steep slope you get to play around all you want. So, replayability at the expense of annoying the hell out of first time players? Yeah, that's pretty much it.
