Guaranteed it still has micro-transactions. That's probably why King took the deal. In fact I'm willing to bet that King paid a lot of money for this deal, that's what Windows has come to now, a free-to-play model. 3D Pinball didn't have micro-transactions, next thing we'll learn is that there...
Well we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. Either way, classes were and are an integral part of Battlefield's gameplay, the choice not to include them in the new Battlefront actually pulls it further away from Battlefield, not closer. People saying it's just becoming Battlefield irk me...
I've had enough of this. None of these people have ever played a Battlefield game and yet they're all moaning about it as if they actually know what they're talking about. I'm sorry guys but in what way exactly was Battlefront ever not a Battlefield clone:
-Large open maps with drivable air...
To expand on point 5, letting us pause the cutscenes is also greatly appreciated, as sometimes occurrences in the real world can disturb us from an incredibly important plot point and we have to load a previous save. Not good.
Yeah, it'll be like those shounen manga and super hero movies where there's nothing actually hard enough to do any damage to the characters and flying through several brick walls has the same effect as a crash mat.
I agree, I think it would have been better to go all the way with a truly innovative design rather than meet us half way because some people don't like change. As PC purist I never got used to analogue sticks to begin with, so I really wouldn't have minded, but embossing a crosspad into it...
Cryengine has also been available for about £5 a month for some time now, not to mention Blender if you're looking for somehthing open source. Indie devs really have some choice now.
Still trying to figure out what exactly is happening in the picture, a little more explanation of the picture would have been nice; what the colours mean, which way the light is travelling across the material, why the height increases from one side to the other, etc.
Awww, I was hoping we'd also get to see how the game would have looked with prerendered sprites, a muddy colour palette and unnecessary amounts of gore.
The new artstyle will take a little getting used too but that's to be expected. Once I get over the whole "but it's different to how I imagined it" syndrome I can't wait to see what my favourite looking game becomes in HD.
Stick one in every motel and we'll be catching serial rapists left right and center. Obviously the primary reaction to this will be [i]"OMG MA PRIVACY!!11" and while this sort of reaction isn't wrong, I'm not personally worried if someone in an office on the other side of the world hears my...
Can't imagine this series would adapt to film well, never mind a TV show, never mind something with the structure of GoT. The games are structured in such a way that the story is inherently linked (^∀^) to the gameplay, without it it just wouldn't be Zelda.
I- I mean what are they...
