I was pretty disappointed with season 4.
Ive been pretty lukewarm on RWBY in general but always found the first 3 seasons enjoyable. But season 4 lost the things that made RWBY fun, namely the flowing rhythmic fight scenes and doubled down on the shitty anime trope filled writing.

this is by far some of the best advice ive ever read.
I wish my English teachers had given me advice half as good as this, instead they wanted me to write relatable sympathetic characters enganging in interesting and well constructed stories.
Now i haven't played the game or read any reviews on it and while ive seen the first two alien films i wouldnt call myself a fan of the series.
But your defense of it is doing a fair job of convincing me not to get it.

I rather enjoyed Dark Knight Rises dispiste all its (painfully obvious) flaws.
I was disappointed by Dredd, It just ended up as a bland action movie with a few good visual elements.

They did but all the twelve year olds complained about it so it was brought back.
I think a problem is that the tracer isnt an accurate representation of the shots, COD uses hitcheck which is almost instant where as the tracer moves much slower.
I felt like the combat was far simpler then it should be.
it boils down to this (no matter how many enemys really) press the counter button when the prompt appears above the enemys head. Then hit attack to preform an insta kill.
Against tougher enemys (ie the Officers,Scottish Heavys ectera)...
