What forgotten game/IP do you wish to be revived for the current-gen?

What we really need is a new Prince of Persia game. Maybe Ubisoft should give that a shot and let AssCreed have a break in the green room while his older brother takes the reigns for a while. Hell they could even make up for that slip up about female characters in Unity by making it a "Princess...

As for myself (I'm not gonna' bother with the total) I got: Final Fantasy 7, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Max Payne, Max Payne 2, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Prince of Persia: Two Thrones, Bioshock Infinite, Batman Arkham Asylum, and Spec Ops: The Line.

Ubisoft Responds to AC:U Criticism - Will Change its Review Policies

I suppose that does explain all the relatively positive reviews this got from critics in spite of all the problems us peasants had to contend with. This makes it especially funny when game journalists have the nerve to be offended when we suggest that they're too cozy with publishers.

Analysis Shows Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Likely to Sell 40% Less Than Ghosts

ESA, IGDA: Threats, Personal Attacks Have No Place in Games

Thanks #Gamergate! Because of you, the vile SOPA pushing lobbyists of the ESA are now the heroes in this story, but what could we really expect from the gaming community's Tea Party?: http://www.motivationals.org/demotivational-posters/demotivational-poster-15177.jpg

Jimquisition: The Xbox One: A Lying Failure Machine

The reason people shame them in the first place is because they didn't seem to care about us right from the start by lying to and trying to screw the customers at every fucking turn, so, as with just about every problem in the game industry, this was a problem they caused. Also being silent or...

EA: Dungeon Keeper Failed by "Innovating Too Much"

He sort of already covered it this week, or at least the trend which this is a part of: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/jimquisition/9516-EA-Ubisoft-A-Cycle-of-Perpetration-and-Apology?utm_source=latest&utm_medium=index_carousel&utm_campaign=all

    The Big Picture: E3-mageddon: Crossover

Come on, don't sell Channel Awesome so short. The type of story bits that Doug Walker and his folks do work because he and his crew can act and afford decent (for the internet web series)production values, something Bob still doesn't understand.

    So, I finally get it.

For me, Dead Space comes to mind. When I first played it I was hoping for a game full of cheap jump scares. Those can be a lot of fun and even just as engaging as psychological horror you'll find in Silent Hill, and I had heard Dead Space delivers in spades, that was a huge part of its hype...

Poll: Have you ever walked out of a movie at the cinema?

Walked out of the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Way too long to tell way too shit a story.

Just Finished The Walking Dead. Need a Game Reccomendation to Cheer Me Up. Budget: $20 US

If you have a ps3, you could get Journey. No other game has made me feel joy the way that game did.

Alien Invasion stories where you rooted for the aliens?

Well the Transformers movie might count, since if the bad alien robots won, I wouldn't have to listen to the annoying human cast anymore.

    PS4 Impressions

Yeah, but I believe earlier versions were backwards compatible with ps2 games.

    Favourite 'Blow off steam' game

Batman Arkham City's combat challenge maps. They're like stress balls. The combat is so well tuned and feels great. I used to do the same with Asylum. Wish I could I could do the same with Origins, but the combat just doesn't feel right in that game.

AC4... Am I being overly sensitive?

I don't think that's wrong. I don't mind the hunting in AC4, but I was occasionally sad at gunning down animals in Far Cry 3. Everyone has different buttons that they don't like pressed. For example look at the review for GTA 5 on this website. That game seemed to get marked down because the...
