While I didn't in any way hate it, I was kind of upset when they ended the History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi anime when they did, especially when the manga is still doing really well.

I'd recommend doing Karate Go-jyu ryu if you can find it anywhere. It's about as close as most modern types of martial arts get to the original styles.
