What is your favorite video game of all time?

I'm torn between two unusual choices: Rayman 3 and Epic Mickey. I'm big on platformers, and both games have great music, vibrant colors, interesting worlds, and...just amazing atmosphere in general. Close behind them (but vastly different) are Fallout: New Vegas and Spec-Ops: The Line.

    Favorite side scrolling platformer

Rayman Origins. I love the Rayman series, but never really liked the first one--as such, I could never list it as my favorite 2D platformer. Then Origins came along, did what the first Rayman did but better, and it now ranks among my favorite games in general--when it isn't completely...

Things From Skyrim You'd Like to See in Fallout 4

What most have people have said--real-time conversations, sprint function, salvaging (honest salvaging, not just "scrap metal," and an equivalent to the carriage system, readable books and notes, that kind of thing. Lastly...a larger game world, purely to allow for the future equivalent of...

Poll: Which Batman villain needs more love

Scarecrow remains my single favorite comic book villain. Using people's fears against them? I'd like to see more of that, especially if it involved him exploring a few phobias.

If you were an evil overlord, what rules would you make your men follow?

As a full post, this would be way too long, so I made a guide using the handy-dandy spoiler boxes. Having read this guide, I hope you'll take all of these rules into account (you should, or you'll be killed), and most importantly, that you'll have fun living and working here. Here at...

    Overall Game Time

This...is impossible to calculate for me, given the fact that I played half an hour a day for the first three years I had games, then that went up to three hours for the next year, then it became however long I wanted for the next seven years. This isn't including all of the gaming I've done in...

Best portrayal of an apocalypse in any media.

I don't watch a lot of apocalypse movies, so I can't really have an opinion there. However, in games... In terms of sheer realism value, probably Metro: 2033. If nothing else, that tells me how well I would do if I survived the end of the world (which is to say, I would've just been better off...

What's the most scared you've ever been in a game?

The very beginning of Dead Money in Fallout: New Vegas taught me what survival horror really meant: you, untrustworthy companions (at first, anyway...well technically at first you're alone), no weapons, no armor, no stimpaks, an environment full of poisonous gas, hundreds enemies that only die...

    Do you await price drops?

Depends on the game. Certain ones (such as Skyrim, Arkham City, and Portal 2) I will reserve and get the instant they're out. Most games I want I get within a few months of their release (such as Dead Space 2, Rage, and Skyward Sword). That said, I'm also one of those guys who plays the Modern...

What's the most overpowered attack, weapon or ability in a game?

Prototype wasn't a very good game. One of the reasons why, in my opinion, was that you could beat it really early on using the whip fist. If you were somehow still having problems, then about halfway through the game you got the armor upgrade as part of the story. So now not only good you...

The most spine-chilling, bricks-shatting moment in gaming

I'm apparently pretty strange, because a lot of the stuff described on here (Amnesia being the exception) never scared me. I was able to play through all of FEAR and both Dead Space games without really even jumping (although, yes, the corpses getting back up in the first Dead Space game ruined...

Poll: Why did YOU buy Black Ops?

I bought Black Ops? ...When did that happen...? In all seriousness, I played it at a friend's house for the campaign. A few hours later after laughing hysterically at the ridiculous ending, I then went and played Modern Warfare 2's campaign again...also known as the one I actually liked.

What game would you like to see made?

An open-world game that's like a cross between Fallout and Indiana Jones. Loads of people, weapons, quests, and factions, but instead of a post-apocalyptic wasteland it's large tropical forest. Within this forest are a bunch of ancient ruins with all sorts of traps and such. There's also the...

Your 100 + hour single player games!

Every Legend of Zelda (except the CD-i ones, obviously) game ever, thanks to the hundreds of ill-fated new games started after beating them all. And...Bethesda. There's no reason to put an actual name in there. Everything Bethesda's done in the past two decades (plus one year--can't forget Skyrim).

What Song is in Your Head?

Had I seen this like two minutes earlier when I was happy, it would've been this: Now, though...
