It doesn't mean she didn't. She might have just said that because she didn't want scumbags to think they'd won. The fact that she was dealing with stuff like this at all is still a big issue, and the fact that she's not the only one is worse.
From my position, we should assume the worst about...
A person was forced out of their profession by death threats. This is the second time this has happened recently.
You see the bigger issue at hand is "I don't think people I don't consider gamers should be in the industry."
Think about that.
I disagree. Strongly. These people rely on our silence about this. They rely on us to "not give them attention" so they are free to attack people directly. And then people quietly pat themselves on the back because "well, you know, I don't agree with trolls, but I'm really glad she's gone"...
Sh left because of death threats to her family and you find a way to slip in "Awful, but I'm glad she's gone." Classy.
I hate being a gamer. I hate being part of this toxic, entitled community.
The problem isn't her, the problem isn't even trolls and the "vocal minority" we're all so fond...
Space Marines tedious? No, how could an army of guys in the same power army with essentially the same boring personality ever get tedious?
Please, the space marines as a whole are being shoved down our throats. When you say that one chapter is being favored over your personal favorite, imagine...
Haha, fantastic! Move over Akira Yamaoka's haunting elegies of composing brilliance, Nu Metal is the sound of silent hill. I can't wait for great lyrics about how he feels like a freak and nobody understands him.
Eh, I'm no huge fan of jiggle physics and stuff, but you at least have to admit that classic Lara had a distinctive character design, this Lara could just be any reasonably good looking brunette in average clothes.
Really? Wow, that's embarrassing. For them, I mean. For me, also, but more for them.
Of course, I still stand by the idea that the game has probably gotten a huge percentage of its development done in the most recent year or so and that marketing is playing up the "15 years" to make it sound...
Can people please stop claiming that this game was 15 years in development? It wasn't. It was in development for a while, abandoned, and then a new company grabbed the name and restarted essentially from scratch and its been a few years in development.
Griffins? Wow! Fantastic. And here I thought DA was a boring ultra-generic Tolkeinsploitation high fantasy knockoff. But Griffins? That's something new and different, and it really brings the story to life.
Is anyone else sick of the "dark and grim and evil Alice and Wonderland adaptation" fad?
The creepiness of the original came from the fact that everything was so surreal and difficult to relate to. An adaptation like this has no weight because stuff is creepy for obvious reasons. A creepy...
+1
This isn't some guy saying that we need to turn back the tide of violence and sex and make everything puritan, he was raising a legitimate issue. Yes, it might be very difficult for an adopted child if everyone's favorite game is one making fun of orphans.
Are there defenses for Portal...
