If you've ever been cheated on by someone who is supposedly in a committed relationship with you, you'd know it's one of the most painful things imaginable. It's also completely unnecessary. Just break it off with your partner and go from there.
Looks like I'll be hanging on to my 60gb PS3 another generation. I was really hoping this new Xbox was going to be my next console, but no way. Are we supposed to view games as disposable between generations? If we are, then they better start selling them at disposable prices. I happen to really...
This applies to US drivers:
Why do people just ignore road rules? I think most people aren't aware what rules of the road even are anymore. I can't even begin to count how many times I've been trapped behind someone at a red light with no cross traffic and the person in front won't turn right...
When is society going to start punishing horrible parents? If you raise a 13 year old throat slasher who's knocking up girls, I want you thrown in prison. If your kid bombs a marathon, I don't want to see you crying on the news declaring your horrible kid's innocence, I want you standing in line...
That's exactly what he's doing. Nvidia's had a couple years to fix one issue with its cards crashing TF2, and hasn't managed even that. Before they start throwing stones, they should fix their glass houses. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1774666
@Loonyyy: I can't really relate to your overwhelmingly bleak outlook. If anything, your post is a fairly clear illustration of what separates people like my dad from other people. You can eloquently discuss the things holding people back, while he would and did view them as obstacles that needed...
Lots of people use low pay jobs to not only grind out hours for a paycheck, but also learn a skill. If you want to eventually run a McDonalds, by all means take a job there. If you just need a bit of cash while going to school, take a job there. If neither of those apply, don't take a job there...
The wealthy people I know (including my dad) all have somewhat similar stories. They had a talent or a skill that they found a way to market, and they were relentless in their pursuit of success. My grandparents were hardly middle class much less wealthy, and of the family friends that I'd call...
Very rarely. I had maybe 6 alcoholic drinks in 2012. I have nothing against alcohol personally, I basically don't care much for the taste. Plus it's terribly expensive for something I'm likely to throw back up anyway.
This has been my experience as well. I've had people outright make fun of...
I've never even heard of Origin until reading this thread, and I've been using Steam since practically launch. I clearly remember many of Steam's growing pains, but Valve's policy of making the community part of the development process made those pains more bearable. Steam is still in beta in a...
I'd immediately begin the Game Upload Project (G.U.P) where every videogame ever made is easily available for purchase and download in online stores and use on all future consoles. Then I'd retire because games.
For me it's God Hand. I played the hell out of that game and still fire it up occasionally, but hardly anyone I know has even heard of it much less played it.
