From what I've read/seen so far, this whole situation has been handled very professionally and efficiently. Unless I have missed something major, the Icelandic officials who coordinated this deserve praise for their efforts and results.

This is a film I'm itching to see in a theater but unfortunately it's not playing in my area at the moment. I have my fingers crossed for a limited release or, barring that, a spot in my city's international film festival but I'll settle for DVD if that's the only means for me to see it.

Same here. Usually, if a movie isn't playing in my immediate area, I have the opportunity to head to the country just north of me and see it there but its not playing there either. My guess is unless it plays in my town's film festival 3 months from now, I'll probably have to see it on DVD.
