Unless there are some big changes, like it's in the future or takes place on Cybertron, then the only reason to call the new NFS a reboot is so they can get headlines and people talking about it, in which case mission successful (no such thing as bad publicity, remember?).
Well if they can afford to shelf a project after dumping enough money into it to finish it, I'm guessing it wasn't going to be a well remembered classic.
I know this is an early build, but it isn't doing it for me. Maybe it's because this looks like an "arena" game where you kill enemies until the time runs out, which I never really liked unless it's a mini-game to unlock gear or money.
I like the future tech, especially the grenades, but like other CoD games the combat feels too inconsequential. There's no real impact to the fighting and it just seems to happen at random. I know it's trying to be realistic and war isn't fun, but games are supposed to be.
Hearing all the news about Ubisoft whoring out Watch Dogs before it's even released for some reason makes me want the game less. I don't know why, maybe because what happens in the game will be ultimately pointless since there's already at least one sequel confirmed, or maybe it's that...
I'm with you we need a Xenomorph game. You can even start the game as a facehugger and build up your forces/family until the end where you and your brothers are tearing the place apart. But no, because people don't like playing as someone who isn't exactly like them, or in many cases so bland...
Aren't the Kree the same race that Captain Marvell is from? So is this also hinting at a Captain Marvell (and by proxy a Miss Marvel) movie in the future?
