How to argue Games aren't art? Why it's simple, just have an oversimple needlessly constricting and rigid definition of what art is and isn't. Seems to work pretty well for most people who choose to believe it.
It doesn't make you an outright terrible person, but it doesn't do your character any favors either. It makes you lazy, weak or apathetic to the plights of others and those aren't positive qualities to have. It makes you a worse person than you could be, but not instantly terrible.
