I'm a 3rd year Comp Sci student and all of my projects so far have been group work. I've had some shit experiences -including a nightmare of a 5 person project where only myself and one other guy did anything- and some pretty awesome ones -an android app where we scored second highest. It's fine...
Not sure if it's the best I've gotten but the most memorable was in COD2. I got a head shot from across the map through 2 windows with a single bullet from the B.A.R. LMG. When the little icon came up telling everyone what happened all I could hear over chat was laughing and the dude I shot...
I have to say like someone else did earlier in the thread that some peoples choices are kinda hilarious. Well received AAA games. Really lads? Do we not finish our genuinely bad games anymore?
On Topic: I would probably say MorphX which is an awful game developed by some russian company or...
Personally I just found the game frustrating. Not in difficulty but in execution. The gameplay is meh and some of the things they tried to do completely broke me out the experience. I felt the pacing wasn't particularly good and I personally had no connection to the characters. It did do some...
Working in the frozen meat section of a super market. A girl comes up to me with a family pack of mince and asks me "Would this be enough to feed my family?" No other info. After just being baffled for a good 10 seconds I managed to ask how big her family was.
Really enjoyable read but it made me think of a tangent. Does the escapist still do the themed "magazines" that it used to? Haven't seen one in awhile.
Any chance of getting the ridiculous sensationalist headline changed? I come to the escapist to get away from that crap. Not even considering that the headline is just plain incorrect when you take into consideration actual number of consoles shipped then microsoft actually lost this gen
"You play as one of a band of hackers, the 'Spookies', who travel around in a van" why did my mind immediately finish that sentence with "solving mysteries"?
Draken the Ancient Gate was a good game but it had more than one game breaker unfortunately. Every now and again my copy decided to just wipe my saves. :(
I'd be one of those people. Ideally I'd like to be a 3D character artist. I also do sculptures with tin foil I'd love to share and get feed back on. Considering I've never actually seen one of these art threads on the forum I'd like to see a sub-section dedicated to it or at least a trial run of...
I'd imagine MS pay to get that exclusivity so I think that's probably the main benefit for Bethesda.
OT: That actually has me interested in Skyrim again. Wonder how much of their free time stuff they've added.
