The ending has its flaws, but the story of ME was stupid from the very beginning. I played it because of Bioware's great enactment. So I don't have any hard feelings about the strange ending. With the right interpretation it fits and grants closure.

If there's Sci-Fi within, it's great. A fitting rule. Even mediocre games like Freelancer seem to be much greater in the light of flashy space-explosions... :-)

Well, I will take these news as a warning and won't preorder ME3. Though truth be told: The Mass Effect games never had a good story ( and much too much pathos, too). But It's ok with me. As long as Bioware knows how to present it well, it will be fine.
