Actually its rather dry here more than anything. I recently had a trip to Europe where people kept thinking that my nation of origin somehow made impermeable to heat, when this is not the case. Much of the time a lack of moisture in the atmosphere goes a long way to tempering the relative heat...
Apropos of asking about a game that has the player take a secondary role to another character, I can think of one example in Diablo 2.
You spend the whole game chasing after Diablo and Marius, the latter being the main character, and simply cleaning up after them. Indeed Marius is the one who...
@Therumancer
That was a very interesting read, I must say that for myself being in a different country its difficult to see things from that perspective, so thank you.
However I am obviously leading to a few criticisms. Nothing major, but you are aware that a government isn't run by a...
I am rather sad because there were several occasions where this film got very close to saying something very profound, or simply needed to be said. Like criticizing Americas plots to overturn governments usually swopping a bad person for a worse one. It nearly even got around to speaking about...
Oh bravo! That was a really fun read! I'd love to see how much more you could work into the whole narrative. You've given me quite a fun mental bauble to play with, thank you.
I must say, I'm very surprised we don't see your stories for games actually being picked up. You have mentioned a few...
The GOG download for the first assassins creed is 2.9 gigs. The whole game unpacks to about 5 gigs. What the clear utter fuck is going on here? I love the assassins series, I've supported it from day 1, but you know there comes a time where something must just die; and I think I hear the bell...
Correct me if I'm wrong but I figured that a spike in x-ray emissions was indicative of a black hole. Doesn't this simply mean a black hole is causing the weird effect? cause technically it is "dark mater"
Yep, that is. I actually worked on this film as an extra for a bit, my first proper big "non-local" film. I'm surprised they stuck with the name because I was under the impression that Chappie was the working title, you know? subject to change and all.
As an aside all the NDA's we signed...
I must say another kinda creepy game that I got on GOG a while back was "Neverending nightmares". The name is phoning it in a bit but it's damn fun.
Jim must be so sad having a guy wearing a sack break into his house once a year and do all his work while he himself undergoes... weird torture...
No hypotheses on why this happened? The article linked mention none. Unfortunate... but it probably mean that more data is needed before drawing final conclusions
Actually that sounds like it could make a fun and long enough video. Except they need to be restricted to baseball bats or whatever melee is used in worms reloaded (I cant recall) using the destructive weapons only to make holes in the terrain.
I thought Remember Me was actually pretty fun, and I seem to be alone in enjoying the combat. What let it down for me was the story was a bit too predictable. It had so much potential for exploring how integrated we are with our technology, and how we are more powerful, yet weaker for it...
ooohhh good idea!
However a slightly more limiting challenge: Playing as a deprived, see who can kill the asylum demon first after being let out the cell. They're allowed to get all the weapons and stuff on the right hand corridor, but can wear no armor. I dunno if they wanna do a full run...
It sounds like they seriously don't know how to manage their time and organize their development schedule. Usually you want the base game done; have the core experience hashed out as soon as possible with the fiddly extras done later (to put it in very simple terms) that way if there is a sudden...
