So I got hooked on Defense of the Ancients by Guinsoo and IceFrog, but never made the jump to DotA 2. League of Legends was fun for awhile, if not hypnotic in its timing, and I could carry with Corki.
But somehow I missed AoE along the way ...
And SC is a fast path to carpal tunnel syndrome for fifty year old fingers ...
So I have ended up creating my own RTS game Aye Pirates.
I have been homeless in LA for the past four years; it has been a real-life game of survival and so it has taken me sixteen dedicated months to create Aye Pirates (a free RTS set in the Caribbean circa 1700) up to the current September 2020 release Alpha version 0.92. The 1.0 is 2021 scheduled but meanwhile please enjoy the gameplay. And props of course to the talented and dedicated crew who has made 0 A.D. what it is.
