I understand this game is for kids, and I understand it's expensive, but I'm interested to play the game with my nieces and nephews. For those that have played it, is the game too easy that it can get pretty repetitive? How well designed are the worlds, characters, and toys? Do you recommend...

Pretty easy to find some excellent games under 20 bucks, but one you should check out are the "greatest hits" collection from sony and microsoft. Games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2, Arkham Asylum, and others should be under that price range.

The 3DS and now a new console? Nintendo is rolling baby! Hopefully both these systems will have a solid library of games, and I will have no problem calling myself a Nintendo fanboy.

I'd make a game that would not feature Windows Live, any DRM, boring cut scenes, loading times, bugs, ripoff DLC, and other sorts of that nature that has made modern gaming a pain in the butt to deal with sometimes.

Super Meat Boy is a good example, and another one is Black Ops. Dang, those folks sure spend alot of time on that game; they are just too good sometimes.

Nintendo needs to get back to the drawing board and simply make more first party games, new franchises, robust online experience, better designed online store, and a more inviting and friendlier future console for third parties to dish out on. Hopefully one of these will come true for Wii 2.

A definite overhaul: 1. A new engine 2. Better enemies 3. A more exciting world to explore (and I don't want to hear about the "It's Post-Acopalyptic, what did you expect" excuse) 4. NPCs that have more personality, with more body language and emotions
