Update: Beta Tester Leaks Elder Scrolls Online Gameplay Footage

6 years in development and $200 million later we get a bland, boring WoW clone. I give it three months after release before it goes free to play.

    Path of Exile

Hey everyone, just letting you know that another Public Stress Test Weekend is about to start! There have been numerous improvements and additions to the game since the last public weekend. I've been playing since June and what this tiny indie team from New Zealand has done has really...

Why SOPA was wrong, but Megaupload's takedown is right.

lol @ people thinking the majority of files on MegaUpload are legitimate. MegaUpload was always shady as hell, and Kim Dotcom and his staff were fully aware that they were selling subscriptions to pirated content. Normally I would be against something like the MegaUpload takedown, but if...

Ugly Logos Ruin Classy and Artistic Resistance 3 Box Art

At the very least, cut a section out of the cover to have a 'zone' where the logos can go. This way it won't disrupt the continuity of the main image.

Pretty much any space flight sim. The Wing Commander, Privateer, FreeSpace games... and to a lesser extent, X-Wing, TIE Fighter and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter.

PS3 Portal 2 owners get PC edition free.

This changes everything. It really does. I will be able to play co-op with my brother with me on PS3 and him on PC, or even another friend on a Mac. That in itself is mindblowing. The technology to do this has always existed, but Valve and Sony have finally cut down the red tape. With...

Remember when video game manuals were awesome?

I remember this! It was funny how the DOS version had the way cooler installation, with animated machine doohickies and everything. Meanwhile on Windows 95 you just got a background pic!

Game Addiction is real??? I say BS

Yes you can become addicted to gaming, the same way you can become addicted to gambling and have it ruin your life. However I believe it is better to categorise it in the realm of behavioural disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder and body dismorphic disorder, rather than physical...

Remember when video game manuals were awesome?

Hence the rise of the "Collector's Edition". There's still awesome fluff, but now they just want you to pay for it.

Remember when video game manuals were awesome?

Sorry I got my facts wrong, just checked the DVD now and it has Steam on it, but none of the box art mentions it. It's not Steamless, but it's a physical release, completely legit. It comes on 5 DVDs but still has you install Steam for product activation.
