The other thing the jumpscare can do is signal the call to action: something's jumped out and it's time for you to think fast and deal with it. I don't dislike Doom 3 as much as some people for its monsters constantly pulling the jump-out-of-cupboard trick, because I was carrying a...
Totally agree with you, but am really tired of hearing Americans try to debate the worth of socialized healthcare. I am certain at this point that most of them just simply do not get it or do not want to get it.
Goodness, I wanted to love Thief so much.
I am so sad that it sucked so badly. "Garret" could only climb certain things and follow specific paths. I would nearly bump it up a few spots, but I guess I am no Yahtzee.
I am not American, and am in no hurry to eviscerate you. :)
If I recall correctly, the biggest difference between Liberals and Conservatives breaks down thusly: Conservatives think it is the job of the local community to look after those who need help. Liberals believe it is the role of the...
I would much rather a game like Dishonored, where the sandbox is smaller, but there were so many nooks and crannies to explore, than a large empty space.
Also, Dishonored rocke - just sayin'.
I am going to admit that I did not understand almost anything about this article. Plasma Giga-Electrons? It sounds awesome, and I feel very sciency reading this, but this is well beyond my comprehension.
I suck apparently.

Well played sir. Well played.
That said, it is fairly rare that you NEED fire, sometimes you just WANT fire. In deference to your wit I will amend my statement.
Bed bugs are on the very short list of things that I WANT to kill with fire. :)
Seriously bed bugs are on the very short list of things that need to be killed with fire.
Expensive little buggers and they just need to die.
(and surinam toads - because they really freak me out.)
Wasn't as clear as I would've like to have been. What I meant by "forced" was why couldn't I enjoy a single player adventure in the world, all by myself. Especially one that didn't require xboxlive gold etc etc.
Just whining really. The game looks gorgeous, and Bungie does great things but...
This is one of those games I would've bought in a second if it was not for the damn multiplayer.
I just wish that they would stop forcing multiplayer into games.
I hope people enjoy this game, and I look forward to a non-multiplayer release.
