    I need a new boardgame!

My boyfriend and our roommate use it as an opportunity to try to out-masculine each other so everyone else is left to their own devices. And, just curious, have you played any of the maps other than America? Because more complex maps lead to less getting your route blocked.

    I need a new boardgame!

Games I can personally recommend because I've played them/own them: 1) Ticket to Ride. A fun game where you build railroad tracks across the United States (or other countries if you get their maps) to complete destinations. If you're a cut-throat bunch there are opportunities to screw over...

    Actors you're tired of.

I'm honestly getting a little tired of seeing Amy Adams everywhere and I'm not thrilled that they tapped her for Lois Lane in the Man of Steel movie. This is no longer relevant but there was a time in the mid to late 2000s when Freddie Highmore was just absolutely everywhere and I couldn't...

So a black actor is considering role of Johnny Storm and nerdrage has turned racist again.

Are you referring to 'white washing'? The best example I can throw out is how Katara and Sokka in the abysmal live action The Last Airbender movie were played by blonde haired blue eyed very white actors when the characters were supposed to be Inuits. Cause yeah, that's a crappy thing. As...

    what surgery's have you had?

I know EXACTLY how you feel. Out of all the medical procedures I've had, and I've had more than just my surgeries, waking up after having my wisdom teeth out was absolutely the worst.

    what surgery's have you had?

Chalk up another one for wisdom teeth removal. I also had a reconstructive breast reduction at 18 because my shoulders and spine were started to suffer. I've also had several cysts removed from my ovaries as well as laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis lesions. In summary: My...

    Fantasy Novels

Since it seems like you're cool with young adult fantasy lit you could try anything by Tamora Pierce. She's got several quartets based around two different fantasy worlds. I've personally read more of her Tortall series than her Circle series, but that's just me. In chronological order it goes...

How honest would you be in this sort of situation?

Ever since I started working in retail I feel it's better to be honest about it. If I forget to ask someone if there's something on the bottom of their cart (or trolley, or whatever) and a manager catches me at it, they are going to rake me over the coals. I don't like the feeling of being...

What are your thoughts on Jade Empire?

I'd definitely recommend it if you're a fan of Bioware. I've enjoyed it every time I've played it. The story isn't as predictable as you'd think, and there's a wonderful surprise cameo from John Cleese that made me a happy girl the first time I played it.

Are There Any Games You Loved, but Never Finished?

This is, at least to me, a fundamental flaw in many jrpgs. ESPECIALLY if you get locked into a final dungeon with the same handful of mobs over and over so the grinding required to level up becomes even more of a headache. That's why I never beat Lunar:SSSC and Eternal Sonata. Same thing...

Tomb Raider writer expressed an interest in making Lara gay?

I want to thank you for introducing the term "bioware-sexual" into my life. ^_^ That just made me smile. I'm going to have to keep that little morsel in my back pocket.

    Poll: Tolerance of other's opinions

I chose "avoid them" for the poll, because I generally don't like being around the sort of person who is going to rain on my parade. However, I guess it really depends on the situation and the person. I love Final Fantasy Tactics to it's core, I love everything about it, even, at this point...

    Favorite Disney Song

I agree with everything said here, and this one is definitely my second favorite. The guy who played the gypsy guy, whose name I won't even TRY to spell, has such a commanding voice. Omg, I love it.

    Favorite Disney Song

Omg, you're right, that is a good one. So catchy and pleasant, and it really doesn't need words. ^_^

    Favorite Disney Song

So I'm sitting here messing around on the Escapist while my boyfriend and one of our room mates play Star Trek Online when one of them starts whistling. And suddenly I realize I know the song, and then suddenly all three of us are humming it. It was the opening song to the Disney version of...
