I love the likes of Pelican, Explosions In The Sky, 65daysofstatic as much as any other bands. However, I will say that live, I prefer music with lyrics. Instrumental music can struggle to stay interesting live.

+1 for release order. IMO you really need to play MGS1 at least before MGS3, otherwise the story won't really make any sense. The only bad thing about MGS3 IMO was having to go to the menu to change your camo.

Not sure you can sadly. Depends on the iPod. I think older versions could also be used as a disk drive, but newer ones can't, so they only really work through iTunes. You can however just whack the songs you want on a USB stick and play it through that, but I've not been able to find a way to do...

Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines on PC. It came out in 1998. I completed it in 2005 (when I should have been revising for uni exams). Demon's Souls has a rep of being hard. That was kids play compared to Commandos.

I imported this game a while back as it seemed that there's no hope of a EU release, and I absolutely love it. Great game. Its hard, but its hard in a really fair way - when you die its not because the game did something unfair, its because its better than you. And when you complete it it...

Better than DMC2 (by an absolute fucking mile!), not as good as DMC1, probably a little bit worse than DMC3. All in all was good and fun. And nice to play as someone other than Dante for a bit - I quite liked Nero.

Controls obviously, but the rest depends on the genre I think. Sports games need great gameplay and at least very good graphics, adventure/action games IMO need good storylines and decent characters as well. I think what makes a good game into a great game is having bits and pieces of content...

Apparently thats a tech demo or something. I don't really see the need for one. I love the game, its one of my favourites and I've just finished playing through it again on the PSP, but its like remaking a film like 12 Angry Men, Citizen Kane or The Third Man - a remake might make them...

Left 4 Dead 2. :p I'd love to see another Commandos game, but more back to basics with the characters being properly limited in what they can do, not able to do anything like in Commandos 2 and 3. And Timesplitters as Ka_huna and The Ruler of Nosgoth say.
