Prices for PS4's dropping swiftly thanks to high sales!

Prices don't decrease with high demand generally; if anything an increase in demand would result in an increase in price. I find it more likely it's because of the Xbone's price cut and because sales at this specific store are lower than they want.

Monster Monpiece Censored for Sexual Imagery of Girl Monsters

So it's wrong to think women of women that are very petite as attractive as well? Women that look like they could be in high school or younger but are actually in their 20s?

The Big Picture: Blecch, Dull Tests

There are not very many well portrayed Asians in the movie industry, let alone Asian women. It's revolutionary in the sense that it's one of the few that actually does "OK". As another example of this, you can count on one hand the amount of movies made about Japanese American internment.

    "Medicine" in America

As far as I know the bill you get from your doctor is very negotiable. They are more likely to let you pay only a fraction of the cost with a reasonable payment plan then attempt to bankrupt you with no gain whatsoever.

Zero Punctuation: Papers, Please and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

How I think Yahtzee views criticism: OT: I'll most likely get Papers, Please now; the morbid nature of the game sounds enticing.

    Science is based on faith?

I'd look into the ones that say "religion in video games". I haven't seen their latest one today (I edited my post trying to do so before someone quoted me, but alas).

    Science is based on faith?

The context of the video was how religion is treated in games. The whole "science is partially based on faith" was about 1 or 2 minutes of the 2 part video, so it wasn't the focus. Unless of course they made a new video about it that I haven't seen yet. That being said, on some level you do...

Games that you mentally declare non-canon.

WoW. So many retcons and missed opportunities of creating great arcs.... Also, I generally don't accept KOTOR 2 as canon unless the Restoration Mod is included in the discussion. If I had played Mass Effect 3 I would say that, but I refuse to play it, so I'll let people who have played it...

    Students Hack Unmanned Drone

Good for the students for doing this project, and good for the government for actually listening to them. As for the danger of these unfanged drones, anything is a potential threat. Banning drones isn't the answer; moderate regulation is a better idea, as there are benefits to using drones...

    Black Batman

Race is defined as "a category of humankind that shares certain distinctive physical traits." Skin color is a very distinctive physical trait, thus one could call Black people a race. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/race Ethnicity is related, by relies also upon a heritage...

    Black Batman

I heard the change was actually pretty positive; it's not that they willy nilly replaced Spiderman, they killed off the original. So it was an entirely new character, just taking up the mantle left by the original Spiderman. Kinda like when Robin changed a few times because one graduated into...

Books you finished and just thought: "Well...that was shit"

Beloved by Toni Morrison, had to read it for my English class. It's basically about how an escaped slave is haunted by a ghost baby. Needless to say it was pretty fucked up in terms of premise and plot. By the time I got to the end I wasn't exactly sure what I had just experienced.

Poll: Is treating women in Gentlemanly way Sexist?

Technically, if you're treating someone based on their sex it is sexism, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily bad or harmful, unless you have a sense of entitlement about it (i.e. "I gave you my coat therefore you need to do something for me"). Really, asking whether or not it's sexist is...

Poll: Jim sterling VS Extra credits

Extra Credits probably comes off as "pretentious" to most people simply because it's presented in an academic manner. They're presenting their thesis and argument as if they were writing for a scholarly journal or something of that nature. This contrasts with Jim Sterling, who's pretentiousness...
