Escape to the Movies: Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

I went to see it on sunday and have to say that I was rather surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it. Bob is right about the pacing though, there were a fair few big jumps in the timeline that could have done with some smoothing.

Poll: Do you think that the isometric games have a place in modern gaming?

It really depends on the game in question. Diablo, Fallout 1/2 and Command & Conquer are fine, but it doesn't work for everything.

Last time you were impressed by graphics?

I think the last game that really impressed me was FarCry 2 running on max settings at 1920x1080. Despite all it's gameplay flaws, it's a very beautiful game. Crysis and Crysis: Warhead were pretty damn good too, but I wasn't so impressed with Crysis 2. Skyrim is fairly nice, but the...

    Tipping Etiquette

It's not down to me to pay the servers wages, that is the job of their company/organisation. If the wages are so low that the server cannot live on them, then the government needs to step in and set minimum wage laws and controls, or the server needs to learn better money management.

Poll: Give up Human Form: If you had this option, would you take it?

I'd choose to go for something along the lines of the nano-augmented superhuman the is JC Denton in the original Deus Ex game. You'd still have full human body function and appearance, but you'd also be faster, stronger, more resistant to damage and highly adaptable to different situations.

    Unskippable: X-Men: Destiny

I'm playing this game at the moment and actually quite enjoying it. Yeah, it's no "The Witcher" level gameplay and story, but it's not too bad considering how games made from the Marvel universe are often crap. The video was hilarious :-D

    Google Vs. The English

I'm english and I'd say that it is a fairly accurate description. :-D

JRPGs turn based or real time?

The ones I always liked best were those like Terranigma and Secret of Mana where all the combat was real time action based. I still keep hoping for a HD re-release or sequel to Terranigma, it's easily one of my favorite games ever.

    Which is your favourite God?

As a fairy tale, which is what all religions are imo, I very much like the Norse mythology of gods best. It's so exciting, like LoTR's on acid :-D

Poll: Would you trade the ability to have children for immortality?

I'd would absolutely say YES. I'd love to be around to see the time when black and white join together and gang up on green ;-)

The New XIII: It's Not What You Think

This is a real shame, I had a great time playing through the original cel-shaded FPS game and have hoped for a sequel for ages. When it was released it was a considerable breath of fresh air in the world of FPS gaming with it's comic style cutscenes and the awesome text sound effects. Ka-POW...

Poll: Your nation is at war

I would absolutely refuse, war's are caused by the politicians, religions and corporations that rule countries so let the people in control of those groups fight the war, not the people who are just trying to live a decent life.

    What is communism?

My understanding about the USA's hatred of communism is due to the fact that the USA follows capitalism. Generally a system where everybody shares everything equally won't be popular with a system that supports a very small number of people getting money and power through the subjugation and...

Poll: Who's better at comedy? Brits or Americans?

I've always found American comedy to mostly be a little simplistic and often childish. Whereas British comedy is often very subtle and dry and can be quite complex.
