A lot of the Chinese fakes pass many of these tests, as they were made using the same special cardstock as official cards. I usually end up having to rely on font size differences (very helpful to have a known legit copy to compare against) to suss these things out. Fakes usually have text that...
Does it have to be a fictional series?
Discovery Science just ran every Mythbusters in order in the space between Christmas and New Year's, which was awesome for someone who had most of that span off from work and needed background noise that wasn't horrid.
Isn't it too early for HYDRA to be in the SSR? I thought that wasn't established until SHIELD proper was founded and the likes of Zola were brought in under Operation Paperclip (or equivalent).
How exactly do you think that effect will wreck your lands? Other than Dryad Arbor and animated man-lands, lands are inherently colorless. Nykthos decks might not be fond of him, but other than that your non-Elf/Bird/Caryatid/etc manabase should be fine.

So Omega Force's/Koei Tecmo's Hyrule Warriors doesn't count then?
Granted the game doesn't do much with them other than the first time you use a Link figure.

Plus she's insanely tiny. It would look really weird to have a "Thor" smaller than the Black Widow. I respect the hell out of Portman, but there are limits to my suspension of disbelief.
This. After B/W and B2/W2, X/Y was such a backslide. I get that making new 3D models for nearly 800 beasties (more if you include Megas) took some work, but still.
I feel the same way about Gremlins 2. The original was too much horror* and not enough satire.
*Especially since I was 7 at the time. Curse you, lack of PG-13 in 1984!
