"A Serbian Film deserves its reputation as a revolting film."
No, it does not.
It?s just a plain stupid movie, that tries so hard to be shocking, that it becomes rather ridiculous.
You can?t really compare it to a movie like "Martyrs" (The Original) that really feels like a fist to the...
The best Hulk Movie in my opinion.
I loved the different approach, they did on this.
The second one had it?s moments but the end with the two gamma monsters fighting looked like something out of a Playstation game.
An american remake would probaly make the same mistakes as most american remakes of asian horror movies do.
Iron out the edges and the mistery and explain every little thing for the audience.
It seems like the people who make this movies consider their own fellow countrymen and women to dumb...
Hey, you should really someday do a video on Steve Miner`s lovely 80?s Flick "House".
Could be a double feature with the second one, wich despite of being quite different, is very entertaining too.
They even dressed upt the mitlitary unit to look nearly exactly like Roger?s SWAT-Team, that storms the occupied building in the original Dawn of the Dead.
The italians made a lot of crazy zombi-movies back then, but even the worse ones where still much more entertaining, than a lot of the...
My favorite Burton/Depp-Film, Ed Wood.
All about the characters and not stupid effects and you could feel the love of Burton and Depp for the subject of their film in every scene.
To bad, the topic was a little bit to special, for a broader audience.
I wouldn?t even watch this one on video, on a boring afternoon.
In my eyes, the first one was the dullest movie, Burton ever made.
The peak, of his "style over substance" obsession and I can?t stand Johnny Depp making a fool out of himself,
in yet another role.
"He has an immeasurable, indescribable, and not terribly well defined amount of powers, because how else would he pose a threat?"
To be fair, at least that?s quite the same, as in the comics. His powers have always been quite nebulous but very, very super duper.
But Herzog?s Demon and Muse was Klaus Kinski. No natural conditions or political difficulties can possibly be worse, than dealing with Klaus` temperament. :)
One of the best zombi movies of the 2000s.Sadly the sequel didn?t get me as much as this one, but I wouldn?t want the directors to risk their lives again and could see, why the wanted to do something different.
If you like atmospheric zombie flicks, you should perhaps one day dedicate an...
