Thing is. I wasn't really that upset about Double Fine Adventure going over budget or past deadlines. I was upset that it wasn't a classic adventure game in the same vein as Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle. Instead we got the more watered down adventure game where puzzles are rather basic...
You know what though, the whole thing still sucks, because it's still pushing pre-orders. I personally wait until there are reviews and we find out exactly if it's a game worth getting (and worth getting at full cost), but pre-order incentives, especially "bonus missions" basically go against...
It is a bit disappointing to see the game delayed again. It would have been nice if they kept more to the original vision of the kickstarter, a more original SCUMM type adventure game. That said, I liked Broken Age Part 1, just wish the puzzles had been more difficult.
Nice going linking a...
Seriously. This happens every damn time. Why can't they just put multiple lighting settings to toggle through. Of course, you also don't get anything to compare skin tone against. I thought it looked good in character select, but then standing next to the NPCs, my guy looked like he just got a...
It'll be interesting to see if it lives up to those claims. It may all be fetch quests, but it may not. They've had a lot longer to work on this than DA2, and I think as long or longer than Dragon Age Origins. The amount of dev time alone does give me a bit of hope the game will meet expectations.
The biggest mark I'd put against this episode was the stupid glass cage scene. Funny enough, putting him in a room made of plexiglass was a decent way of containing him, since he wouldn't be able to break it easily. What was stupid was that it made him "invisible" and that the guards were stupid...
Seems like Unity is going to try to be like Assassin's Creed 3, while Rogue is going to be like Black Flag. I know which one I'm more interested in. :)
Look. I can forgive someone screwing up the first time. I can even understand the second time. But three times of the wrong movie is just absurd. There's no way that happens by accident.
I love the first few seasons of Community, but I've pretty much tuned out over the last season. The characters just got a bit too out there, and I didn't really like how Pierce constantly regressed after making significant character development.
I'm pretty sure Disney actually had to really work to convince Harrison Ford to sign on for just one of the new Star Wars movies. As I recall, there was a lot of questions whether he would be in or not. I doubt then that he's already committed to a second and third film. Even then, at best Ford...
