AWESOME SONGS dudes. Really awesome songs Post them.

So I know you said no black metal, but how about atmospheric metal. Saor is a one man act from Scotland and his music captures the spirit on the land perfectly. There is some sorrow but there is also joy and purpose. Simple put this is on of my favorite songs. All i have to say about Van...

Best Sci-Fi, Fantasy TV Episode EVER!!!!

With Dr. Who people always forget the "Girl in the Fireplace". Which for me is easily the best episode in the series. Star Trek: the original series also had some amazing episodes like "City of the Edge of Forever". The Next Generation the best episodes would ether be, "The Inner Light" or...

Games Which *Weren't* Well Reviewed/Liked...But You Liked Anyway.

Too Humam, I am suprised no one else has mentioned this game yet. I loved this game, and I played it for several hundred hours. It's set up was cool, it story while treading dangerously close to pulp was good. Now given a basic knowledge of North mythology and there is no surprise at what...

Is There an Antivirus Software That's Better Than Another for Gaming?

As stated many times before Windows security is good and light. I have two others I would recommend. 1: MalwareBytes is fantastic, and it has a free version that is great. 2: Hit Man Pro 3.5 is super lightweight on hardware and is always up to date on the latest threats. It is fast and...

Gaming series/Genres you fell out of love with.

Starcraft 2. I loved Brood War, I came in near the end of it's life, around 2007. So naturally I was really excited about Starcraft 2, i played the camping and loved it. Then i played the ladder (multiplayer). It was bad thou, sort of. I mean its better that any other game but not as good as...

Good program to find Drivers automatically?

For nvidia GPU's you can use GeForce Experience. It will keep you updated on drivers. As for other components they don't need drivers as often. But the manufactures web site normally have tools to help you.

    Most disapointing game of 2013

The Last of Us. I haven't ever been so disappointed in a game ever. Aftere hearing about how the story is the best story ever told in a game. Or how ellie is the most likable character ever voiced. Or the rest of the hype. Needless to say I played it, and didn't agree. It wasn't any of the...

Who is the best swordsman in fiction?

Al Lan Mandragoran. Is just a man, no superpowers, no cheating move, just skill with a blade. He was an infant while the kingdom of Malkier fell. In his cradle you was given a sword. As other children played withe toys, he learned the blade. At the age of 16 he took the Malkieri oath of kings...

Webcomics: Which do you read, and why?

I don't want to just resay what everyone has all ready said, but im going to. Schlock Mercenary, is great and updated daily, but I like reading it is chunks. Luckily there is like 12 years of backlog. XKDC is fun short and sweet. Not too much to say about other then read it. I feel...

Can you recommend brilliant books based on what I've loved so far

@ BloatedGuppy While I didn't have as much as a problem with that in Mistborn as you I can fully understand your problem with it. I would recommend, if you're still willing to give Sanderson a shot, The Emperor's Soul. It's short so if you don't enjoy is it's not that much wasted time and at...

Can you recommend brilliant books based on what I've loved so far

I cannot recommend The Name of The Wind enough. It slow but amazingly well written, definitely worth reading. The second book is no where as good but better then most fantasy books.

    The Last of US Discussion

I agree with almost everything the OP said. But I think The Last of Us shouldn't even be brought up in the discussion of best game stories. Sure it had great character development, for 2 characters, the rest were one dimensional. The world and atmosphere were not great, just ok, there are...

Book recommendations for someone who hasn't properly read a book in years.

I Second Warbreaker; also it's a free and legal download From the authors website. Actually any books mentioned in the post above are pretty good, with exception of Wizards first Rule. I can't in good conscience really recommend the book sorry. Oh another YAbook that's good is The...
