Whatever you do, don't get Dead Space 2. While the first one is fantastic, the second one is incrediblely frustrating.

I haven't played Skyrim or Uncharted 3 yet, and they could definitely change my mind, but so far it would definitely have to be Portal 2. That game was almost completely flawless.

I think fast traveling in any game kind of takes away from the size of the world, but I don't mind it that much. What'd be really awesome is if games had achievements or unlockables that encourage you not to fast travel.
