I assume these things are supposed to filter incoming light in some way to reduce strain, but I don't really know. If your eyes do get strained I'd say you could probably look into it, but if its a "just incase" sort of precaution I'd recommend you move on.

I'm not keen on another $500 price tag. As far as I'm concerned, no contender of the current generation has earned its keep. There's good games across the board, but no console has proven itself as being a worthwhile purchase.
