    Burn Ward needed.

    What are you currently playing?

That diegetic intro is actually pretty cool and I'm sad more games don't attempt something like it.

The Thread where I air my grievances with the Assassins' Creed series SPOILERS EVERYWHERE

It's funny that what I've been reading about Ghost of Yotei sounds like an Assassins Creed game...but better then any of the recent ones. Granted I haven't played an AC game since Odyssey. It was so big it broke me. It did get me interested boning up on ancient history and mythology to the...

    What have you learned today?

Spain still has a monarchy. Their current king is 57 years old and has a 20 year old daughter next in line. Which is cool and all. I'm not Spanish, I just happened to look it up.

Roaming boss murder simulator from Capcom(the other one): Part 2: Furry Edition- We took out the original big bad after one mission. Now we need to fight his enemies instead with...THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP- Escape from Hell.....now do it again and again because the Art and Music is really...

You're probably not gonna be happy to know there's numerous dragon fights in this game. The good news is most of them are optional. The bad or good news is, depending on how you feel, pretty much every one is very similar in dragon move set and the big difference is what kind of dragon it is...

After a bit of meandering around Minrathous (I never believed I’d write that), it’s brought up that since the gods have the blight under their command, or darkspawn at least, it would be prudent to have the Grey Wardens on side, since that’s kinda their whole thing and all. A meeting is...

I'm gonna touch on it but I found it really irritating the First Warden just seems to materialize wherever you happen to be just to tell you to fuck off and stop doing the job they Wardens are supposed to be doing anyway. Like you have access to the travel mirrors but there's nothing...

With Lucanis retrieved and Treviso out of the way, the next place to go is back to Minrathous, the capital of Trevinter. The last time we were here the whole place was being torn apart but Demons and magic portals just minutes into starting the game, so this time we have time to actually explore...

Bethesda needs a trip to the Burn ward after that.

I think it's a matter of Conservation of detail and pacing a lot of the time. If you're doing a travel story or a story where a lot of ground is covered, it's generally a good idea to skip the boring parts or find a way to speed up the travel sections unless the travel sections ARE the point...

Your video game hot take(s) thread

I don't know why I feel the need to post this, but here goes. Broken Sword 4 is not a good broken sword game and is a mediocre adventure game. I like the Broken Sword Series(it's okay if nobody here is aware of those anymore but apparently they're still getting made) and I remember not liking...

Ironically last time I skipped one of the more interesting parts of the experience in this game so I’ll backtrack a little to cover the Crossroads. The fade has already been one of the more contentious and uneven parts of this series. The one in Origins is perhaps the most obnoxious part of the...

Good point. I was using Marvel as an adjective because that was the only thing that really came to mind to describe the vibe but honestly your explanation makes a lot of sense and I appreciate it.
