My better half is on our bed right now curled up with her DS playing Professor Layton. We both stayed up the past few nights to do 'just one more puzzle'. I bought Scene-It over Christmas and she loves a game every few nights. She doesn't like the games I would tend to play wholesale, but when...
Killed a guy with a smoke grenade in CS. He was on 1hp from taking a sniper shot ealier. Total fluke, he walked around the corner of the gate in cs_compound as i threw it. Straight in the face. I lolled for about 5mins :D
Hilarious throughout, but dont take offense if i say a lot of it seemed to reflect your lack of ability to play driving games. I never use the minimap. After 4+ hours gaming time you should have a decent grasp of the city layout.
Besides, for a guy who gives out about lack of innovation...
The captain was the shining star in that. Im not quite sure exactly why, but i laughed quite a lot during that. Well done guys, looking forward to the next installment.
DS DS DS
Im not a nintendo fanboy (not even close) but i bought a psp on launch day and apart from Street Fighter, Loco Roco & Katamari, i use it as a an MP3 player with a snazzy screen.
if u like games and not wasting money, DS your life up.
Clearly media is secondary to the social and civil reasons that contribute to these horrific massacres. But then again its never easy to go to the root of a problem. It takes too long and if you cant explain it in a sentence or headline, nobody finds it interesting.
I dont think individuals...
This gamespot story seems to have gotten legs and ran about fantasy land.
According to the Gamespot Podcast today, it might have had nothing to do with the K&L video review after all. And even if it does, it doesn't necessarily mean that past or future reviews would contain tilt for/against...
I remember having one of those "wow" moments when playing the FPS "Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth". There were long segments of that game where you were performing environmental tasks that didn't involve shooting. There were levels which involved information collection involving...
I really like the concept of GOTY has become redundant. The film industry gives out Oscars for "Best Movie" along with the usual Genre awards, but i think games are far more varied than anything we see in movies, and it just feels wrong to single out one game from a pack of such varied...
I'm still waiting to see how Crysis fairs on a decent PC, but ive gotta go with Team Fortress 2. I was pretty surprised how good it turned out. In saying that Episode 2 and Portal were two of the best games ive ever played.
And yea, portal a shooter? I suppose Call of Cthulhu wasn't...
my demo of it wouldn't allow me to change any of the settings. even after mucho hacking of config files it would just revert to defaults on startup. Ill wait till i upgrade :)
John Woo presents Stranglehold was a pleasant surprise. I didn't think much of Assassins Creed when i bought it, but it was excellent too.
I think above all else though, Crackdown was a game i bought off someone on a whim and ended up putting hours into. Really enjoyable. Until my 360...
Im guilty of enjoying games that lacked originality, because of their graphical deliciousness. But apart from good graphics, a tasty art-style like Loco Roco, Katamari or Okami helps a lot too.
But in terms of your Frogger reference, i think a lot of publishers are guilty of thinking new...
