This. Whether it's pikemen devaststing tanks, or Phalanxes annihilating battleships without a scratch, nothing beats the first Civ for strategy "WTF" weirdness. Lets be honest, if it takes 3+ paragraphs to tell your "crazy" story, it's not very interesting.
