Well, Take Two has now dropped them as a client. Good for them.
Doing foolish things like this - mistake or not - is completely out of order. Mistake or not, the fact that he was thinking it, was bad enough. Then he goes and types it up. And Tweets it.
I've had a love and hate...
Wow, that was just beautiful Russ. If it wasn't for the fact that I was eating something spicy for lunch when I read that, I'd have attributed the tears in my eyes to the emotions that your missive invoked in my otherwise battle hardened persona.
Have a nice day.
ps: R.I.P Duke
It will never get made. Haeve is too busy with Fallout to care about a dead franchise in an out-of-reach genre.
I'd still make it though if I had the chance but maybe only for XBLA and/or PSN at a $15 price point or thereabouts. Or an MMO (!) even.
I did try to get in on it several years...
Can we go back to bashing Mark and Cliff please? All this gaming talks is just flat out boring.
Thanks for your understanding. Have a nice day.
ktnx bye
@ Starke
"Take, for instance, the (alleged) post from him above where he indirectly accuses us all of being stupid."
uhm, hmmm. Sorry, but that wasn't the intent. My point (which I guess I failed to articulate) was that only stupid people fall for marketing and PR speak.

Gawd, I laughed until cried. Then I read it again, laughed some more, cried a little. Then I hugged my iPad.
I love Tom (great guy) but man, if I had done that, they'd be constructing electric fences around my home and office right about now.
Long and short of it, he's right though.
As I said over in that Gamasutra thread, nothing will change unless there is a lawsuit. A threat of a lawsuit will just be shrugged off.
Plus, from what I'm hearing, TT is either going to close down that studio or trim it even further - regardless of how RDR does in the marketplace.
Once...
Oh yeah, here come the personal attacks. Gamers behaving badly online - what a concept. Considering how every public person gets wanton abuse from people hiding behind keyboards, I consider myself to be in good company. So you guys can play that game all on your own; most of us have grown up...
Considering that my games are designed and developed for a specific group of people - and not the masses - you're obviously not the target audience. As such, you are of no consequence regardless of whether or not the game is good or bad.
@ Tiama666
What would have been a neat trick is if we ever had such a game.
We've never - ever - had a game in which you played as a marine, stuck on station and couldn't get off it. Let alone one in which you would attack enemies and leave unscathed. In fact, the difficulty level of our...
