Assassins Creed 3 - The Best Assassins Creed Yet.

I almost completelt agree. Every other AC has had me captivated, even though I must admit that by Revelations it felt a little stale. This is a personal opinion, but the locations and settings of the the previous games are just significantly more interesting and exotic than those in AC3...

    Underrated GOTY

I voted for Far Cry 3 (probably my actual 2nd choice for GOTY). Ideally I would have voted for Max Payne 3 as 1st choice - the voice acting, music, settings, atmosphere are amazing and the gunplay is the best I've seen in any 3rd person action game to date. Sleeping Dogs is a close 3rd...

    Favorite noise from gaming

The mission complete themes from GTA III and Vice City were the bomb!

First Offical game of D&D played today

I remember playing one game as a swashbuckling rogue when a melee erupted in a tavern during dinner when the town guard stormed in to arrest us. I managed to convince the DM that I'd do a running jump off a table, swing on the candle-chandelier above and kick a baddy into the roaring fire. I...

Suggest me a western or two

"The Outlaw Josey Wales" is one of my favourite films of all time. "Pale Rider" is also fantastic. "High Plains Drifter" too. You can tell I'm an Eastwood fan :P I also love "The Searchers" and "The Wild Bunch"

    Max Payne 3 Review

Seems weird that you'd immediately decide not to buy a game based on this one random guy who played it, and not the stellar review under which your comment resides... Also people keep seeming to equate noir with darkness and New York. Having completed Max Payne 1 and 2 there I can outright...

Have you ever "played to lose"?

In GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption it was sometimes fun to purposefully fail a mission in different ways to hear the dialogue. It was specific to how you failed the mission (unless you died of course). Also, then on replaying the mission, you'd hear new dialogue on the ride over to the start.

Things you never noticed in Pokemon.

Ekans is snake backwards. And Arbok is Kobra. Blew my mind at the time.

What 3 games have you played the longest?

    1) Medieval 2 Total War (have always kept coming back to it - especially with mods) 2) GTA4 3) World of Warcraft (even though I haven't played it for 3 years I still reckon the amount I played it while I was still subscribed means it unfortunately gets into my top 3!)

Odd things you do in Video games

In GTA games if my car gets even slightly dented I have to change it. It's just ruins the atmosphere if you turn up to a mission and you arrive in a car missing panelling. I also sometimes like to abide by the speed limit sometimes and just cruise along listening to the radio. *** Also...

    Greatest Deal You've Ever Made

Max Payne 1 & Max Payne 2 - both for only £3 during a steam sale 2 years ago. Fantastic!

    Would you wear Project:Glass?

I think HUD contact lenses would be much cooler. That way you don't look like a prat while wearing them. http://gizmodo.com/5861749/heads+up-display-contact-lenses-are-one-step-closer-after-passing-safety-tests

    Assassin's Creed III

Old north church is gonna be featured. Check this screenie of Boston and look left :) http://cdn.gamerant.com/wp-content/uploads/Assassins-Creed-3-Boston-Winter-570x320.jpg It does seem weird that Ubisoft is proclaiming that Connor is going to be entirely neutral in the war, and yet every...

Poll: Best of GTA 3 series

Definitely Vice City. I'd buy an HD port of that immediately! The gameplay wasn't as over-the-top as San Andreas (a gangbanger from South-Central LA ends up piloting fighter jets to blow up spy-ships...), and yet it was just crazy enough to fit in with the 80s vibe it nailed down perfectly...

    Poll: Assassins Creed fans

AC2 had the best story I reckon, so I voted for it. The puzzles in it were the most interesting as well. I also liked how it still had many different locations and cities to visit with historical landmarks. However, the combat and assassination gameplay in Brotherhood and Revelations is much...
