For me, I think it depends on the state of the game in general. If it's riddled with bugs and performance issues to the point that they're very likely to happen no matter what you do then it would be wise to delay it until it is in a stable state where such issues are rare if not non-existent...
I guess when it comes to ME3 DLC, I noticed that playing with both the Leviathan and Extended Cut DLC actually makes the ending make abit more sense... somewhat. Probably the best you'll ever get for a satisfying ending for it at any rate.
Optimization. Just because there are new consoles out doesn't mean this doesn't happen anymore. The more optimized a game is, the more resources there will be available to the hardware to perform other tasks. I'm abit of an optimization freak myself and more often then not I don't see much...

Is that compressed or uncompressed of 50GB worth of data? Not that I'm getting it but you think they would compress some stuff, especially things like textures and video/audio which can eat up alot of it very quickly.
So I guess we'll miss the feature of the lights re-orienting themselves based on the fact that the console is either horizontal or vertical, huh? I recall the Xbox 360 did that.

Yeah, you better give us some padded suits too in case we wanted to play a ninja game or something. I don't think everyone can do a backflip without hurting themselves.
Now I don't mind at least some advances toward VR but total physical immersion is what I'm worried about.
