I'm not sure if you would consider these "sophisticated" RTS's but I enjoyed the hell out of Total Annihilation and Total Annihilation Kingdoms. Then there's Supreme Commander I didn't really like it, but some people have.

Dynasty Warriors 6, every character maxed, every area torn asunder on Chaos. I even found the Red Hare proxy horse.
