This was really neat to watch. Some interesting bits.
- It was said that Sid (Let's call him The Stig. =D ) was SAS.
- As some pointed out, Sid treated this like the real thing, and took cover immediately, took his shots, and then moved up, where as the gamer simply ran out and shot...
"...it will give you a feel for what we are aiming for with V13."
Wow, really? Call me skeptical, but this shows me nothing. Generic post-apocalyptic painting that Taylor could have gotten off DeviantArt for all we know.
Concept art, unless it's truly original, has got to be one of the...
I'm reposing an argument I made in the earlier thread since I'd like to see some more discussion on the reasons for this change.
I agree with Funk in that the traditional server browser model could use some revamping. Making interfaces accessible to new players is something in every...
I don't think it's an issue of PC gamers accepting change, but rather one of having choices removed. I agree that it would be nice to make it easier for online multiplayer with services like IW.net, (see my post above) and I'm actually interested in seeing what benefits they can deliver...
I agree with Funk in that the traditional server browser model could use some revamping. The MW1 version wasn't always too intuitive even. Making interfaces accessable to new players is something in every developer's interest. Promoting a difficult mechanic as a wall to keep "n00bs" out doesn't...
So long as people are paying for these games, it really doesn't matter what he says, or what anyone things. Gamers may hate him, but someone's buying the goods.
I find it hilarious that for as much hate as this man has gathered (not undeservingly) for churning out sequel after sequel, he's...

He does have a point. Story and narrative are equally as important, and to have awesome game play but no context does not always make a "great game" in the sense that it will stand up to a movie in terms of how it touches...
Everyone's said it already, but I'll say it again. They totally got it wrong. We made original characters, wrote our own story, had our own adventures. the grind was miserable, but we carved our own sense of self. the Jedi and Sith (um, they're mostly extinct supposidally) were the thing of talk...
If if they find a developer to release it, great, but I think it would be a poor move.
I have no doubt they talked to Soldiers about what happened. I don't think they listened to them though. Soldiers just don't regenerate health and bunny-hop into battle firing off headshot after headshot...
