What does not beating the DS in battery life (which last around 12 hours+) and watching a movie which would last at the very most 4 hours have to do with each other?? Why are people assuming that not beating a normal DS in battery life automatically means 3DS will only last an hour or two...

Nintendo have already said, quite some time ago, that 3DS will have a similar battery life to DSLite, which is to say between 8 and 10 hours. That's less then all other DS models, but surely nobodies going to tell me its not enough or at all disappointing for such a device?
