Shame it's not the OMG! AMAZING!! game I wanted it to be. Might still pick it one the price comes down as the story still sounds intriguing.

While I really want to play this game the first thought that came to me at the "done some things that negatively affected him and his family" part was *eye roll* 'Oh great, another dead wife and/or kids'.

FF12 I loved the story, granted I had to go look it up on youtube after I gave up on the game for being an unforgivable grind-fest. Don't get me wrong, I know a certain amount of grinding is required in any FF game but 12 just took the piss and all the fun of the game with it.

OK. I've been quite happy with my Xbox but this? This is starting to look like the game that will finally make me crack and buy a PS3.

Unless this is going to be the first MMO to come out of consoles my reaction is a mix of 'meh' and 'dammit!' because 1) more resources are going to go towards this rather than the next elder scrolls game and 2) by not playing I'll end up missing out the story unless someone youtubes it.
