The first one I thought of was pong but due to it's simplicity providing so much possibility (for example an intergalactic war based on the propulsion of a large mass of energy), that I couldn't say it doesn't have a story. Even if you take it's base gameplay a story can still be told.

For being boring

When remaking a game I'd need a good reason. For Blood Omen it would have to be the loading times and maybe a tightening up of the graphics. I can think of very few other games that need remaking.
